I really love tahini (for those who don't know, it's a spread/paste made from crushed sesame seeds) but I always do the same thing with it as I don't know anything else.
I have it on toast with vegemite and tahini on top mmm.
anyone know what else I can do? Can it be used in recipes?

I noticed a lot of things I like taste like seaseme seeds but I always thought they just used seaseme oil
make hummus? i used to gorge on it when i was little...
You can buy it in Holland and Barratt, and I also saw some in Sainsburys (in the foreign foods section). It costs around £1.50 for a jar depending on the brand.
thanks for the suggestions.
Indeed
I used to love it until I ate loads when I had a massive hangover in Jerusalem (Dodgy Isreli vodka) and now I can't eat it at all any more without feeling reallly ill which is such a pity.
My mother in law makes a Tahini dip tingy which we have with roast lamb - weird but it works.
Is kind of like hummus but without the chickpeas - you take some tahini and add lemon juice, salt peper and a little and garlic olive oil and hten you mix it up with a couple of tablespons of water to make it more runny - at first it goes really hard but as you keep on mixing it gets much runnier - its reallllllly nice - ohhhh I want lamb now
