Blood Donation

I kind of donated blood today and now I'm shaking now and then. It's like an uncontrollable shudder passes through me. I've donated blood several times before and I've never had this happen before, but then I never had the problems at the clinic as I had at the blood drive. Like the entire metal tube that goes into the vein clotted over so the bag was only half full. Anyone else ever had the shuddering?

    I never had it before or since but the time before my last donation, I had really bad shaking/shuddering for a while after. I put it down to not having eaten enough and once I had a large meal and plenty of hydration, it went away. Could be that?

    Make sure you've had plenty to eat and drink, and if you don't feel any better ring the help line number for advice.
