bleeding when urinating

me and my partner have started trying for a baby this past week and had sex everyday since last night when i go for a pee i have noticed i am bleeding. im very worried. my lower abdomen feels a bit delicate too.
any ideas?

Maybe take a couple of days off from the sex and see if you feel better?

Does it hurt when you pee? Do you feel the need to pee lots?

It could be a urinary tract infection (uti) or maybe youve just caused a tiny tear in your bladder from all the sexing

If its a UTI you may need antibiotics to clear it up - it could progress to a kidney infection if not treated.

If it was a tear then you'll probably heal given time but maybe avoid sex for a bit.

You can get sachets of things for cystitis (pain when peeing/need to pee lots) from the chemists which stop it hurting as much by changing the acidity of your pee but best to see the doctor just to be sure

thanks guys. called nhs 24 and they got me an appointment at the out of hours doctor at thehospital. doc says i have an infection and given me antibiotics. feeling a bit sore but im sure i shall live to tell the tale.

it could be a kidney stone....il hubby gets blood in his urine and pain whenever he gets them (once a year usually)
