    I just tried to invite someone and it said

    "You've Run Out of Invites"

    I've not been able to invite a single person to Joost .. my invites have alway remained at zero.

    I'd be surprised if they went to unlimited all of a sudden, even though I've seen it reported they will - would have thought doubling or tripling the number of invites would be the way to go first.

    that's the US based version - it's actually a very poor piece of journalism since I don't think a word of it applies to what you get in Europe.

    I went to use it today and said you need to download the newer version, then went to the website and it was down

    Sent out some invites, keep PM'ing me for more if anyone wants them.

    The site keeps going up and down, i think the influx of users is sending it a bit crazy, Error 503 means maintenence usually.

    Does anyone else find that Joost still lets the screensaver and standby work?

    So damn annoying that you can be laid in bed half way through watching something then next thing the screensaver comes on. Nothing else does this, Winamp doesn't, RealPlayer doesn't, Windows Media doesn't! I could always disable damn screensaver but thats a pain in the arse.

    Why don't you just disable the screensaver in windows then?

    Screensavers are only needed for Plasma TV's

    You'd have to leave the same exact image on a CRT screen for a very long time to damage it
