What make-up do you use?

This has been influenced by what people have been saying in the photo thread :p

To answer my own question:

Foundation - None

Powder - None

Mascara - Benefit Bad Gal

Pencil Eyeliner - Miss Sporty (Its the only one that stays on, yet the cheapest, I have tried more expensive ones  )

Liquid Eyeliner - Ruby & Millie I-Writer

Lip Gloss - Vaseline (cheap but effective) - I also have "http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1067306&classificationid=1041068" but it makes the skin around my lips red so I can't wear it :(

Eyeshadow - Ruby & Millie or Urban Decay
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

I thought vaseline was a cheap version of diaper rash cream it sits in the store right next to bordeux butt paste ;)... And you put it on your lips?

I rarely wear make up but I buy lots of stuff from a store around here becasue around once a season you can get those million piece make up sets of their brand that usually go for 150 for like 20. I have 4 of them now :p I've also got about 400000 lip glosses, most of them are revlon super lusterious :p but still, i never wear them. I'm lazy.

Oh, and Sally Hansen's chapped lip repair. That is from the gods.

foundation: well i have 3 on the go at the minute! it wasn't intentional. l'oreal translucide healthy glow make-up, no7 essential moisture and ysl teint eclat de soie.

powder: have 2 on the go. either prestige cosmetics multi-task wet/dry power or no7 creme touch.

mascara: no7 full impact or l'oreal volume shocking.

eyeliner: a kohl one by mac. my favourite colour is 'tarnish' but i'm running out of that so using a brown one called 'teddy'. don't use liquid eyeliner.

lipgloss: rimmel jelly gloss in 'tasty' or, i've discovered the best one ever..estee lauder pure colour gloss in 'quartz'.

eyeshadow: i like bourjois eyeshadows but have recently had an estee lauder box set to my collection and it's amazing.

my make-up bag won't even do up.

MAC. Whenever I can afford it. A small purchase every once in a while means a nice collection eventually builds up. Otherwise, something cheap, like collection 2000 or stuff from the market to practice with. I occasionally use Napolean too, but I have to get that from my friend.

MAC, always.. except for my eye shadow, which is Urban Decay.

If I'm not buying MAC, then I'm shopping at Sephora. I refuse to cheap out on my make-up.

I am definitely a MAC girl, have 15 or more of their eyeshadows. My different eyeliners are MAC (green, gold, black), blusher is MAC, colored lipgloss is MAC and pigment is MAC.
What I don't use MAC for is my Mascara which HAS to be DiorShow, and YSL Touche Eclat for dark circles (though I find it shit).
Don't put anything on my face but moistouriser, as for now I don't need it and don't like the idea of having a layer of make-up on my face during the day.

I don't wear foundation or powder, as I don't want something all over my face all day, like someone said. Generally I'm a black eyeliner girl- pencil or liquid depending on what I'm wearing and so on.

Pencil- Chanel or Loreal (which is so cheap but so good!)
Liquid- Rimmel. It looks fine. Or coloured MAC ones.
Mascara- Maybelline Volum Express (cheap but it works good)
Eyeshadow (which I hardly ever wear)- YSL
    Blusher- Chanel or Benefit
Lips- MAC pale pink colour, 17 pillerbox red, chapstick, Benefit Benetint too.

    Haha.

    I'm such a heavy cheapskate!

    I use:

    Foundation - Maybelline Wonder Finish.
Powder - Boots Natural Collection pressed powder.
Blusher - Boots Natural Collection blusher.
Eyeshadow - 17, Boots Natural Collection eyeshadow, Bourjois wee pot thingies.

well i guess it depends what your using and what its being used for, i use their aquacolour foundation for nights out or days when im going out from morning till late at night as the staying power is amazing. I use the supracolour foundation if im going to weddings or other event type things where im having lots of photos taken.

If you use the right amount of the right product then your fine....when i first got the stuff, i tried it out and put wayyy too much on and ended up looking like i was a drag queen! With kryolan you only need the smallest amount to give you the look you want. Don't forget i also live in a very hot humid place, so not many brands of make up manage to keep all day, but kryolan surprisingly does.

So don't knock it until you've used it properly ;)

ETA: Kryolan is not crap, i never heard about them until they used it for my wedding make up....and i was gobsmacked as to how it looked exactly the same at the end of the wedding as it did when she first did it. I was under spot-lights and dying cos it was so hot, but it kept amazingly well...i've been converted since :p

Foundation - That 10 hour sleep Bourjois one. I am in love with this stuff. I hate looking like I'm wearing foundation, and this is so sheer, but covers up everything I need it to. I give it a big :thumb:

Concealer - Rimmel Recover. I've tried everything to cover up my dark shadows, and this wins.

Powder - don't wear it all the time, but swear by the mighty Collection 2000 when I do.

    Blusher - Maybelline mousse.

Eyeliner - All and sundry. Current faves are the Gosh ones from Superdrug.

Mascara - Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof. I am often tempted away, but I always come back.

Lip gloss - everything from vaseline lip pots to Clinique Superbalm I handily acquired when my brother's girlfriend left him just before Christmas ;)

Haha, I do know how to use it properly, we use all of Kryolan products on my Make-Up diploma course. Which, is why I'm surprised you use it yourself, as it's not a very workable product for every day. Best for theatres and photographical makeups really.

And what do theatres, tv and photography studios all have in common? Hot spot lights that would melt regular make up almost instanly, so when its 40 - 50 degrees outside, yes i would rather use stage make up and not have it melt off my face in the two seconds i step between my house and car or car and wherever im going.

Its not like you need a masters in make up application to use it properly, you just need practice and the right tools. I don't wear make up everyday, so saying i use it for everyday use isnt exactly the case. I think i use my kryolan aquacolour foundation about 3 times a month and the supracolour foundation once a month.

Foundation: Atm, I use Rimmel Recover. It's OK but glittery. Which has started to lose the novelty. Am looking for a different one atm, considering one of the Bourjois ones but only because I have a money off voucher :)

Concealer: Rimmel Hide The Blemish.

Powder: Boots Natural Collection Loose Powder

Eyeshadow: A mix. Either Boots Natural Collection again, Barry M Dazzle Dust, or the Bourjois single pots. I ALWAYS get complimented on my Natural Collection ones though, so I use them alot :)

    Eyeliner: Rimmel Soft Kohl

Mascara: Maybelline Great Lash Blackest Black

Lipgloss: I very rarely wear. If I do, I've got a couple from Avon I got a while back, which will need throwing out soon probably. I have a clear Natural Collection one as well. Other than that, I just wear some Nivea LipBalm :)

But my mistake, I seem to have unknowingly hit a nerve!

There isn't a problem!! I couldn't care what she used on her face tbh.
I was just surprised because I've never come across someone who likes to wear Kryolan foundation! Tis all.

    Geez!
