As with every console that came out and comes in the future. It needs at least a year to settle in, get rid of any niggles or major issues that will surface, and they always do. It needs that time for games to be developed and over time more will follow suite creating as big a PS3 gamerange as the PS2 and PS1.

The real issue with most people is the price, people's arguement is that Sony has actually done quite well to keep the price as low as it is and, quite honestly if you look at it it is actually an alright price for a product of this kind and for what it can do now and what it may very well be capable of in the future, and remember that, it's something for the future also.

My biggest bug bear is this Blu-Ray shite. Fair enough the discs can hold a lot more storage but they shouldnt be forcing it on people because as always it has a contendor that has split even Hollywood on the issue of what storage medium to put movies on.

But of course, that is they key to what these people do really isn't it. Milk us all dry by selling everything separelty instead of all in one package for a reasonable price. Wouldnt b " Business " otherwise eh.

Interesting issue will be, as always, the games that only appear on one platform. Testing seems to be showing that the PS3 isn't actually that much more powerful than the 360, and even after an extended period of development people won't achieve any that couldn't be done, to a degree, on the 360.

So it comes down to what only appears on one console - and GTA4 is coming out on both, and Gears of War, etc, are already out on the 360 - so the games will always out.

With the price difference though, the games will need to be unique and very, very popular.

I think the PS3 is a substantial amount more powerful than the 360, but if you look at the relative jumps from console to console, a big difference in power won't make THAT much difference graphically now because the frame-rate and pixel rates are already that high now.
