Isnt this just a convenient way of taking no asylum seekers?
Possibly, but you have to ask yourself a question.
If you are fleeing oppression, why not stop at the first and nearest safe haven? Why come to the UK?
If a person is fleeing from persecution, why NOT grant them asylum?
Perhaps it is important to regulate the number of asylum seekers that come to the UK, but to deny ANY asylum seekere entry seems idiotic to me.
I dont think it was when it was originally setup that way, but I think its an excuse used for that reason nowadays.
truly iggnorant
i believe all safe nations should accept their fair share of asylum seekers, i hear so much from either side of the argument so im unsure whether we have too much or not
but anyone who is truly fleeing persucution should be allowed here
but i do think the law should be changed such that asylum seekers can work whilst they are here in the 1st 6months,currently its illegal for them to work, so they have to live off benefits, but why not let them be able to work and contribute
So how many AS’s are too many? Could we take 20 million over the next few years? Can the NHS cope, do we have enough houses to give them all homes? Could the education system handle everyone, with all their cultural and linguistic issues?
Let them work? As what? Are there enough jobs, all this will do is push wages down for many people in lower paid work, while all the above will push up taxes.
The people I really feel sorry for are our old age pensioners, who fought the Nazi’s to retain our freedoms and are now treated like shit. While local authorities (the ones ruled by the lonely lefties) bend over backwards to fill every AS’s whim.
Well at this current moment in time there is no reason for the Irish, French or Norwegians to seek asylum in this country or anywhere else, but circumstances can change. Just suppose the Arabs decided to invade France and convert them all to Islam, don’t laugh they have tried it before. In this case we would see millions of Frenchmen seeking Asylum and safety in this country, and I’m sure we would be more than willing to accommodate them before helping them retake their land.
You Trot types use the Racist word on just about everyone who has an opposing view on anything to you. You are over using it and its loosing its punch.
Why would I or anyone else want to go to a dump like Brixton?
Your arguments are laughable. I actually feel sorry for you, you seem lost, lonely, ignorant and very angry at the world. Maybe you should see a counsellor?
You better not for your own safety, pal.
No I ‘m quite happy with life at the movement. I’m also happy with the current political swing in the UK to the right, and the continuing death of the left/SWP/Trots. Watch out for more gains over the next couple of years.
Lonely, I wish, my 3 kids never give me a moments peace. Stop being judgemental, you haven’t gotta a fuckin clue about me.
Firstly I'd like to make it clear that I wasn't supporting the BNP or in any way advocating voting for them, I was just answering the original question in this thread.
To answer your point, I think its a bit silly to call me a fool for saying that most things have something good about them, of course they do.
As for calling them a Nazi party, that depends on your definition of Nazi doesn't it. Dictionary.com gives:
"Na·zi ( P ) Pronunciation Key (näts, nt-)
n. pl. Na·zis
A member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, founded in Germany in 1919 and brought to power in 1933 under Adolf Hitler.
often nazi An adherent or advocate of policies characteristic of Nazism; a fascist.
adj.
Of, relating to, controlled by, or typical of the National Socialist German Workers' Party."
How typical the BNP is of the National Socialist German Worker's Party of the 1930s and 40s is debatable. Firstly they don't share the same version of history as the Nazis, secondly they do not have private armies, they're British, and in general share very little common ground with the Nazis except an emphasis/exaggeration on racial politics.
That is one thing that always puzzles me (and goes to show how extremely stupid and phoney these people are, on top of everything else they are). That they claim to be patriotic and love Britain and yet cream their pants when they think of the biggest enemy Britain has had in its history. No doubt every man and woman who gave their lives defending this country against Nazism turn in their graves every time those "patriots" fly the flag and announce their love for Britain.
