apart from anything else, they would just annoy me
i'm on a mission to freak out the people in wakey. they look at you funny if you're not wearing adidas trackie bottoms and a white halter top.
i think these will be just the thing
i want to stand out from the people of wakey, not blend in.
Not to sure about them being fleece though..sweaty legs in this blindingly hot weather? (well where i am anyway...which is hundreds of miles from england but...ya..):eek2:
Mind you, I like pixie shoes, so go figure
I made myself a pair of furry ones, and have had many people come up to me and ask where I got them from
here's a pic of some similar to mine

The bin?
Sorry, not my flavour. OMG SPEAKING OF
WE HAVE ICE CREAM!
lol...
sorry, im sure theyre nice....!
they were on ebay.
i'm sure they can't be that hard to make though. i'm gonna attempt it at some point.
too hot for legwarmers now anyway...
But that really is the only point in them.
I only say that 'cause i think legwarmers look really fucking ugly and tacky.
Because if you have read the whole thread you will see that she wants to 'stand out from the people of wakey, not blend in.' And I think the people in wakefield wear trousers.
Stupid fashion.
They do look nice to some people. Its the same with everythin.
If you go out and wear pants on your head some people will think its great and looks nice, others will think its ming.
yup.
i asked my housemate his opinion on them, and he said if he saw a girl wearing them he'd 'almost certainly want to have sex with them'. which is his way of saying they look really good.
so girls, if you want to have sex with my housemate, get yourselves some legwarmers.
Yes, I do know this, Lisa.
It's just sometimes fashion and people seem so lame when they like things purely because it's in fashion (not that I'm saying this is what kaffrin is doing).
Kaffrin isnt doing it anyway because they aint in fashion yet. Well, I havent seen them in New Look or Topshop.
Kaffrin, is your house mate fit?
They are round here. So many people wear them round town with all this crazily bright stuff and quiffs and things.
Oooh, Birmingham hasnt got that yet. I can not wait for it to arrive. :yeees:
decide for yourself
he'll kill me for that
i'm not talking about the ugly 80s knitted legwarmers. specifically about the flared japanese-style ones. they don't sell them in western shops. you have to make your own or get them off ebay.
i'm not doing it cause i think it's hip and trendy. it's more an experiement in people's reactions. i want to wear what i want, and not care either about high fashion, or about wakey's version of low fashion. in fact, just my fashion, and how people react.
He is rather yom.
