Not spaghetti. Far too messy and unromantic to eat! Some other kind of pasta is easy and always works out well, and when she comes round you should welcome her with a glass of something alcoholic and/or bubbly :)

Eat by candlelight and have coffee and chocolate afterwards. It'll be great :D

I want the meal I have prepared to be on the table by this time..

I'll have the lights off,and room lit by candle light if it isn't too dark...

have our favourite cd playing softly

dunno what drinks to have.... im not keen on wine e.t.c and not sure what her preferance is...lol

Depends on what she likes - shouldn't you be asking her?

She could be a vegetarians for all we know!!

I love Chinese Food and it's the kind of food that is good for sharing - a little bit of this, a little bit of that!!

    Mmm, carbonara is good! :yum:

If you don't like wine, make cocktails! :)

Don't just light one candle, you'll need a few or you'll have to have the lights on too.

    This sort ok??

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
2 Meanwhile, place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, reserving some of the drippings, crumble and set aside.
3 Scramble eggs in bacon drippings.
4 Place spaghetti in a large bowl. Pour in olive oil, and mix well; use enough to just moisten spaghetti. Stir in bacon, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

Er, I think you want to replace one of the eggs with some single cream and mix that into the sauce - about 2 parts egg to 1 part cream - because too much egg can be a bit lumpy and rich. Also, I don't usually scramble the eggs, just keep them raw and then the heat of the pasta when you mix them in will cook them enough.

Anyone else do that? Oh well, apart from cooking instructions it sounds like a lovely thing to do :)

Just do it with less messy pasta than spaghetti, like bows or shells.

Yeah, i found a better receipe..

    455 g spaghetti
    15 ml olive oil
    8 slices bacon, diced
    15 ml olive oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
60 ml dry white wine (optional)
    4 eggs
    50 g grated Parmesan cheese
    5 g chopped fresh parsley
    0 g salt to taste
0 g ground black pepper to taste
    10 g grated Parmesan cheese

    Thats to serve 8...
