    other than the fact that I hate Zach de La Rocha for making him famous.... he was attached to Castro, he was acting as a comintern to win support to overthrow another democratically elected government and spread the evil of communism.

    Clandestine, I acknowledge and am aware of the US' checkered past regarding human rights abuse and sponsoring some not so desirable regimes - I dont condone them though and oppose still any form of socialism. Even that which is found in Canada and well, all of California.

    You had better go check your history on CUba DM, Batista was no shining example of democratic liberty. He was a brutal and repressive dictator in his own right.

    As for checkered past, it isnt just a matter of some phase our govt is now over and done with. We continue to support heinously repressive regimes around the globe. Just becuase it isnt shown on the evening news doesn't mean it isnt happening, it only demonstrates the effective control Washington has in keeping many activities away from public scrutiny.

    I think you'll find that it was the Cuban Revolution and his subsequent assassination that made him famous.
