Same here, I was getting so used to the old one that I had to relearn how to use this one lol
I'm so glad the old style is back because I found the new one so hard to navigate at times and the colour scheme felt too clinical for me personally.
Oh happy birthday @independent_!! I hope you're having a wonderful day
@independent_ omg happy happy happy (yes that's three happies) birthdays to you. I hope you have a fabulous birthday x.
when foxes scream it sounds like a woman screaming!! scares shit out of me! rly hope you managed to get some sleep
ooh do they? i don’t like mac and cheese but i do love a gd nandos!!
yeah exactly its so scary. i just stayed up the rest of the night because i couldnt be asked to go back to sleep.
Yeah I think they do it on their menu now and it looks actually quite good.
interesting
I would actually like to try their mac and cheese because I hear its really nice. Though for me it depends what type of mac and cheese it is because I had some which have been really tasty but some which haven't been that nice.
yeah it depends on what they put in the mac and cheese really.
Heya
Omg hey @Chloe! Welcome back, don't think I've said it yet. What have you been up to!!
@Leyla heyyyy!! Thankyouuu hehe 🩷 Goodness a fair bit but mainly tryna push and prepare for all my marked assignment exams etc to try get the grades for my uni course in September! I feel like soo much has changed since I last saw you in a chattt - what have you been up too? How've you beennn
@Chloe Oooooh so exciting!! Have you fully decided which uni and stuff you want to go to?
Had quite a dramatic start to the year for a bunch of reasons but hoping it has all settled down now!! Got a few nice things planned for the upcoming months so looking forward to those hehe
@Leyla yeah!! Ive had my conditional offer and ive applied for accommodation there, gotta apply for student finance tomorrow! Im gonna be doing a BA(Hons) Community, Youth and Families course! So ill get to help young people like loads of people have helped me throughout my life 🩷
Oh noo - I hope all is okay!! Ooo sounds fun having some nice things planned though! Hows T?? (If im okay to ask)
@Chloe Aw yayaya congrats!! That's so exciting and a career you've mentioned a few times even years ago!!
Yesss T is good thank you! We're going away for my birthday to Portugal which neither of us have been to so that should be fuuun - apparently it's very hilly though so good luck to my calves!
@Leyla yesss!! I feel like itll defo support me with things like setting my mind fully on recovery too so I feel like itll be positive in loads of aspects!!
Im Glad shes gooddd!! Portugal sounds amazingggg i bet youre so excited!!
Omg I got rid of some of my ducks 🙈🙈 i made it to 500 then realised if I was going uni id need a massive clear out so I only have 100 now - ive not been able to go surfing recently either so havent been since Christmas eve but I found out yesterday that I can bring my surfboards to uni so im relieved about that ahah! Omg ive dyed my hair red tooo
@Chloe I think it will be really positive too, having passion for something really helps with the tricky parts of the course etc! GASP only 100 ducks ?! Heartbreaking, but necessary, and at least you know they're the absolute BEST of the bunch!!
Aww noooo I'm sure when you get back on the board it'll be such a good feeliing, worth the wait!!
Woahhhh red is my fave colour and I dabbled with dying the ends of my hair red so I'd love to do it again, maybe this shall inspire me to get some dye! How do you feel about it??
@Leyla 100%!! My fav are my Disney ones hehe
Defo!! Hopefully ill get to go soon as the surf and weather are improving loads - i just need my health and strength to do so too pahah
Omg you should dye the endssss, I love mine its given me so much more confidence ahhaa altho its a nightmare because I need to redye it again as the roots show so quickly!
Ive actually learned to curl my hair too which is something I never did ahaha altho I think thats partially a bad thing considering my hair is dying from the constant heat🙈
@Leyla ohh Portugal! I’ve always wanted to go there. I hope you have a wonderful time for your birthday.
I’ve just managed to shop in ikea without buying any useless crap that i will never need or use (hello, random cheese grater with a box for catching the cheese that i have never used from a previous trip up there)! Still need to take the big theo boy for a run then we’re cooking a roast later, i could think of a million better things to be doing than cooking a roast but I’ll enjoy eating it, soooo.
@Chloe You'll smash it when you get back into surfing! Gonna riiiide the waves hehe
Yesss that looks so nice!! Ah T uses straighteners every day but as long as you use some protective oil afterwards it seems to stop it from getting damaged, so there is hope to have curls and not fry your hair hehe
@independent_ I shall report back how it is!! Still a couple of months away but I shall definitely let ya know. Ngl, I do think I would benefit from the grater that catches the cheese but thats only because we only have a flat grater which is very awkward to use - good show of willpower though!! What roast was it and did big boy Theo enjoy his run?!
@Leyla I can’t wait to hear all about it!
We have one of those graters that stands up but you have to put it on a board to catch the cheese, but the one with the cheese catcher is flat and awkward to use. If i could have the upright one with a cheese catcher that would be ideal haha. It was roast beef, with roast tatties and Yorkshire puddings (but of course, i love yorkshires)! And theo always loves to run, we took him a bit of a longer way but even at that the only thing he was interested in was picking up the biggest, heaviest, most tree like stick he could find. He’s gotta show everyone that he’s a big strong lad.
@independent_ Yes that would be ideal!! Best of both worlds. One thing I never mastered during cooking is grating effectively I always end up crumbling it and then my fingers get caught!!
I never used to like Yorkies much (dont judge) but now I LOVE them idk how I lived without them, so that sounds like a great dinner mmm
Theo IS big strong lad so he must show that to everyone else of course
