@Amy22 I had beats before my current headphones and they stopped working after a few months. The right side would just not produce sound. Couldn't get a new pair even though they were under a one year guarantee. Trying to watch a movie at the moment but every now and then my headphones will glitch. It might be because they're getting faulty or they just need a clean, I have no clue. I'm really hoping they work on my phone though, they won't work on my PC, if they don't work on my phone, college and Asda will become even worse than they already are.

Some idiot left big metal baskets in the middle of the hallway outside my bedroom causing me to bump into them and have a fall. I may of also woken up some people in my family as well as getting myself hurt.

@ivy07 no worries, Im so sorry to hear you're terrible, we're always here for you mate

I get you with headphones glitching or not producing the right sound because it can be frustrating especially when you need to use them as well. I find I'm the same because I use my headphones a lot to de stress eventhough I don't really take them out with me and I use them at home.

I think it's fine now, but I might need new headphones soon which is just great.

@Redemption , thank you so much for opening up about this, and for being vulnerable in this way. I hear what you're saying about just how scary it feels to talk to people, and how, at the same time, you're feeling lonely and longing perhaps for more connection. Can I ask, what's the most frightening thing about the idea of talking with new people? We're here to listen without any judgement

@so_very_tired , oh no that sounds so frustrating that those items were left in the way! Are you okay after that fall?

  • so_very_tiredso_very_tired Posts: 981 Part of The Mix Family

I'm fine after the fall thanks. I forgot to mention that this happened when all the lights where off so I couldn't see anything. I didn't think anything would be in the way so I didn't see a point in turning on the lights.

I want some hawkstone @so_very_tired not managed to get some yet

  • so_very_tiredso_very_tired Posts: 981 Part of The Mix Family

You'll get some eventually. You will taste a 100% British lager soon hopefully.

  • so_very_tiredso_very_tired Posts: 981 Part of The Mix Family

We need topic of conversation, should we do the one I previously recommended or something else?

  • RedemptionRedemption Community Connector Posts: 6,709 Master Poster

@so_very_tired hopefully soon, it just sainsburys didnt have it, hopefully soon. I don't think its like something that you can't get hold of like ive had it a couple of times before, I had the premium and theres this session lager too which a cheaper weaker one. Premium is probably the best. I doubt its like ksi and logan Paul's drink prime, thst was a nightmare when it came out, hard to get hold of, not to sound critical but its not that good, its too sweet, its not disgusting but deffo not worth the hype just as they are big youtubers, it's all died now and I heard it was selling for 20p or something. A celebrity hype business or product can be a bad idea, it goes well at first but then it dies like people probably all got hold of it and its not something they'd repeat buy again and again like coke or lucazade, gatorade etc

  • so_very_tiredso_very_tired Posts: 981 Part of The Mix Family

Really hope Hawkstone doesn't have a similar end to Prime as Jeremy Clarkson is actually someone I have respect for and he because Hawkstone is 100% British basically every other lager has international ingredients to save costs. I also tried Prime before and I can safely I didn't understand the massive hoopla around it. It wasn't foul, it was okay and nothing I would ever see myself buying when it was popular. If I see Prime for cheap I might just get some for a cheap drink.

Yh @so_very_tired the beer is a bigger targeted audience 18 to any age and people probs buy due to what you said fully British, taste etc rather than some guy who entertains 12 year olds. Tbh ksi especially is ok but ive been growing out of that stuff like maybe every now and then but yh fairs. Hawkstone is something that will probably be permanent thing. I need to go to his pub at some point and James may. James may has a gin too, I need to try that, thats strong stuff so I try to avoid whisky and stuff like that, I don’t fancy being drop dead wasted being sick either but if I don't have too much its all good.

  • so_very_tiredso_very_tired Posts: 981 Part of The Mix Family

I've said before I would love to go to Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog, but it's a free hour car drive there and back and I get travel sick easily so the trip wouldn't be worth it. Would love to go to James May's pub, but I don't see myself going for similar reasons.

  • RedemptionRedemption Community Connector Posts: 6,709 Master Poster

Same here , quite far, I don't get too car sick, tbf I was sick in my friends bmw a couple of years ago, so embarrassing, he was going fast and stuff but yh at normal speeds Im ok. I think its worth it. I'd much prefer going to their pub especially James may than dragged along abroad stuck in a hotel room for several days plus

I think if I had a lass to feel less lonely, less shit I'd feel better but I'm just here alone and i bored . Im scared no one will date me

  • so_very_tiredso_very_tired Posts: 981 Part of The Mix Family

@Redemption I have no idea if I can get travel sick if I'm driving the car, if I don't, I wouldn't mind going to Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog whenever I get the chance and if I have the spending money, it also turns out that for me it's a two and a half journey to Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog, but a two and a half hour journey back. James May's pub would also be nice but that's a three hour drive for a pub and another three hour drive back. If I'm already in that area, I could see my going there.

Also, I understand how you feel at the moment. I also feel like I feel like I could doing something better that my current unpaid position at Asda, especially with my qualifications. I'm going to stop making this about myself, I hope you get a better role soon @Redemption, I don't see any reason why you can't either.

youre a good friend, im sure someone will date you. sometimes you never know how the people in your life will show up. your future partner can show up at any time.

@Redemption I don't see any reason why no one will want to date you, your a really nice person on here and I presume your also like this IRL as well.

  • RedemptionRedemption Community Connector Posts: 6,709 Master Poster

@so_very_tired yh tough, maybe get travel sickness tablets thats what I did in my friends car as he hoons everywhere, its scarily fast going on planes which seemed to help its similar to me. If youre the driver though its harder to get car sick.

Ive not got much qualifications, I think I was gonna do that course you're doing but I hopefully don't need to now, not to sound bad or negative in any way like if you got a job in Asda that's a better job than me. Just going from paid to unpaid is a step down. Hopefully touch wood them days are over because I did volunteering in grumpy dull charity shop, it wasn’t like your internship that there's a chance of paid work after it was just on and on, then I wasn't appreciated everything failing, it was so shit the job searchz I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have here. Also don't worry you aren't making it about you, you just relate don't worry. Im sure we'll both end up doing better, its just the start for both of us.
