  I’m also interested in the lack of consideration for other options as @Nathan has raised here.
  
  I was actually thinking about the post filtering earlier on as well. The Facebook group i moderate has keyword filters, they flag up certain words and i get a notification to check those individual posts. And i was thinking given that the mix already have a spam filter, couldn’t they have something like this too?
  
  I may be wasting my time here since it’s already been ruled out, but I know it is possible on other platforms. There are some issues with it in that innocent words can flag up, but 99% of those posts are fine and just need a human to check them for context.

  Are there any other online communities like the mix available in the UK if for some reason I can't access the mix after these changes are implemented? I've heard that side by side is very good, but since I'm not yet 18 I wouldn't be able to join. I obviously don't want to leave but I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any backup options.

  @Nemuritai The only ones I am aware of are side by side, childline, qwell/kooth depending on age, Tellmi and TalkLife, but a few of these are also pre moderated and a couple aren’t UK specific.

  @Nemuritai There's Kooth which seems similar to The Mix and you are are old enough to use. No idea what it's like though as I never used it before. Here is the link if you're interested though.

  Kooth and Qwell are only available in certain areas though so you’d need to check if you decide to sign up
