When me and my family were about to have Christmas dinner, the one thing I didn't want to happen happened. Argument.

My parents had yule log with my brother earlier, and I got left out and wasn't told about it. I often get left out of things because my parents spend so much time with my brother and I don't usually care, but I feel kind of upset right now.

@Nemuritai it is awful of your parents to not bother doing the very simple task of telling you they were going to have some yule log but they tell your brother and disregard. I really hope you got some though because it seemed like you did.

I really appreciate that @so_very_tired, thank you. I haven't had any yet but I'll get some later with a coffee. I feel kind of hurt to be honest but it really helps being heard here.

@so_very_tired that means a lot. Did you get anything nice for Christmas? Only if you'd like to share, of course

I just got a bunch of clothes and chocolate. It's not a lot but I'm getting some upgrades to my PC in the new year. What have you gotten for Christmas?

Aw that sounds good. I got some books, a couple of stuffed animals and an Ado blanket which I'm very happy about (Ado is my absolute favourite singer ever and I adore her hehe)

I knew you got some books and some of them are written in Japanese, very impressive. I have been told it is very hard for people in the west to learn Japanese.

Aw thank you  it is fairly difficult but being able to read proper books in the language now makes it worth it.

Ever wanted to go to Japan @Nemuritai once you perfected Japanese and had the money to do so?

I would love that, absolutely. I don't know whether I'd ever have the money to do so but if I could afford it, that would be amazing. If the worst came to the worst, I know enough Japanese to go up to a stranger and say I'm lost and don't know where I am

I wouldn't mind going to Japan as I think they have a beautiful culture and they look pretty advance compared to the UK. At the same time though, I don't know Japanese. The only Japanese I know it Konichawa, I think that's hello, I am aware their are signs in English in Tokyo I believe, but I have been told that locals dislike foreigners due how some of them treat and outright disrespect the culture. I know it isn't everyone, but I'd rather not feel like a nuisance.
