If you’re buying for any kids and don’t know what’s “in” at the moment, think about puzzles. I’m getting my 10 year old niece a Rubik’s cube. Makeup is good for a lot of teenage girls, and chocolate is good for anybody.
If the person is an adult and you know for sure they drink alcohol, a nice bottle also usually goes down well.
Just to add if anyone is crafty I think homemade gifts can be super thoughtful and affordable! I made my friend a mini scrapbook one year of a bunch of memories we had together that went down a real treat. If I could knit or crochet I'd also have a go at making those kind of gifts too
I was also going to jump on to this and also say that if anyone is also crafty or feeling arty, handmade gifts can add a very nice touch to gift giving this year. Also anything that is hand made is also made from the heart and knitting and crochet is a very sustainable way of making clothes.
