getting a job in the nhs

i dont know why but im really passionate about getting a job within the nhs whilst working in admin. ive been applying to different admin jobs on the nhs jobs website near me so i hope i at least get an interview. the reason why ive been applying for jobs mainly is because i want to drop out of college but ive discussed that before so i wont go into too much detail. i just hope that ill be able to get an admin nhs job at 17. the main reason why i want to work for the nhs in an admin position is because i like helping others and the nhs have helped me a lot in the past. i mean, they literally saved my life from birth so i feel like i need to give back in some way. but im scared that i wont be able to get an admin nhs job because of my age. there may be strict regulations in nhs trusts that dont allow 16-17 year olds to work for them so i dont know whether theyll actually take me on or not, we'll just have to wait and see.

@toffuna101 I think it's a wonderful thing to want to do, and it's always so inspiring to me when someone has such a clear idea of what they want to do. It's so great that you feel passionate about that, and I really hope you're able to get a position working there.

I can relate to wanting to help others - I'm not quite old enough but I'd love to have a job helping people when I'm an adult, specifically little children. I'm not sure exactly why but I feel so passionate about making sure kids feel safe and cared for, and to set them up for a good childhood.

That was kind of rambly hehe, but anyway, I wish you luck with your job search! <3

fingers crossed you get a job in the NHS - you've put so much in already when applying for them. And if the age thing does become an issue, it's always important to keep in mind that you have so much time ahead of you, and even if they say no now, there's plenty opportunity in the future

we are all wishing you the best of luck with it though - they'd be lucky to have someone like you on their team :3
