camhs - low mood

why in camhs do they call depression low mood? last week i saw a letter from my psychiatrist since they usually make those and in one of my diagnoses it says that i have low mood. this is confusing because low mood within itself isnt a diagnosis, depression is.

@toffuna101 just medical terminology sadly. Trust me, half the terminology makes no sense. It describes just one element of depression, the low mood, and ignores the countless other elements of it. It might be worth speaking to your psychiatrist about it.
