My turtle is missing his eye, and has been missing it for well over a decade now. I kept him even though he's a little broken, a little worn down, and not so perfect, and it makes him even more special to me. My turtle, picked up in a charity shop for £1 with 20 years of love and cuddles, worn down and missing an eye, beats a bought of amazon next day delivery teddy any day of the week.
