@DonnerKebab
And with your exam tomorrow, and everything else going on, i can't imagine how hard it is for you.
And tomorrow, you said you had a maths exam. Listen to me River, you are going to go there tomorrow, ace it, like you did with your practice exams, and make everybody proud. You have a huge weight on your shoulders, but please hold onto the possible hope, and secure your future tomorrow and make yourself proud.
Sorry if i'm wording everything terribly or am talking the wrong way or out of term.
If you do fail in a worst case scenario or walk out, you can always try and retake it at a later date a few weeks down the line i assume. I assume you've learnt the course materials so i think some places you can even just go in and just do the exam without a whole course attached to it. You can do it as a private candidate at an exam centre, or you can just resit. You have contingencies if it doesn't work out my friend. So try not to be scared, or worried, or feel ashamed if it doesn't work out or you sob during it. Easier said then done, but i just want to get across, it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work out for whatever reason.
Good thinking with the mascara btw. The last thing you'll need is mascara dripping onto the damn paper. Imagine going to put a black dot on answer A and the mascara drips off and appears as a black dot on B.
That last paragraph made me smile, if that happens I’ll be writing “sorry ignore the mascara blob I was crying in the exam” 😂😂😂
Ah well, just venting, dont expect replies so no pressure xx
i get that feeling. could you just like wash the dishes or something or did you already do that?
@independent_ maybe its time to try something new
I relate to not having anything I enjoy @independent_ like I have tried stuff but I don't really enjoy them like football I don't but didn't think I would. There's stuff I wanna do like travelling but it's hard as it's expensive. I find hotels and stuff super boring, I don't think I have had a chance to do stuff I enjoy. I'm skipping the family holiday this year which we usually have just because it's boring all we do is sit around the hotel plus I'm going to lose access to the here when I'm there. I'm just honestly not in the mood often too not having a job atm like I'm irratable and stuff. Anyway not to make it about me too much, sorry for rambling about me just saying I relate, you have your holiday soon you said so that should be something you look forward to and enjoy then after that it might suck after the holiday but you can the plan and look forward to your next one.
@Redemption sorry to hear you relate. I personally don’t mind just sitting around when I’m on holiday, it’s about the only time I don’t feel guilty about doing that.
I was meant to have something on this weekend but it’s cancelled because of the weather too and I feel kinda sad about that because I was looking forward to getting out and chatting to people
oh i see. yeah british weather is quite inconsistent even in the summer so its unfortunate that its cancelled.
@independent_ I relate to that too, like feeling guilty for sitting around and I feel useless for it. I was just mentioning it to a staff member on my course that after this course finishes in a few weeks I'll be sat back at home but he said about my next steps and also said focus on now basically. Understandable to be sad about something you were looking forward to, I relate to that too, I was on about on the chat last night about routine and how I can find it hard when that routine gets messed up. We could maybe talk on chat later about this where I could talk about more personal experiences because I feel like pottentially this is more public here. Definitely reasonable to be sad though, can be so fustrating etc things getting cancelled.
Hi, you ok River?
Thanks so much @DonnerKebab likewise.
