@Katie it’s excellent. Well done @Leyla and everyone! Nice to put some voices to names too.

Really interesting words especially from the community side, I’m glad the volunteers get as much out of being here as we do. And I loved the question about what the average shift looks like. I used to volunteer for shout as well and I was like @Leyla in that I listened to music during, but I never quite went as far as video game soundtracks hehe! Whatever works.

@Katie I listened to the latest one, it was nice to hear the voices of incredible mods who support us and a bit of back story etc.

@Leyla the podcast confirmed your human :p
Sometimes when the people most like you don't love you, it is a hurt that can cause the greatest pain, and this pain can lead you to hate everything.

@Leyla I used to have songs that always seemed to play when I was on shift - namely is this the way to Amarillo and come on Eileen, so now I associate them with it lol.

It’s nice to know who we’re talking to and know a bit more about them, i don’t listen to podcasts much but that was actually the main reason I was interested in listening to this one, because it was more to get to know a bit more about you and the other volunteers on it. I’ve never had the counselling so I didn’t know anything about that either so that was cool, esp their day in the life bit.

Did you not want to go on it @Katie or you a bit camera shy ? Fair enough if so or any other reasons, I probably would be camera shy

Well I haven't been a volunteer for nearly the last year so it didn't feel that fitting for me and yes I must admit I might've been a little camera shy @Redemption ! I like listening to podcasts but I don't think it's my thing to speak on them - I'd end up just waffling on!

I would be camera shy too @Katie I hate talking on camera now I start waffling and start using my telephone voice
