To celebrate our volunteers for Volunteers' Week, you can hear from five of our amazing volunteers about their own volunteering journeys and what volunteering at The Mix means to them on this week's Mix Six Podcast episode.
If you've ever been curious about our volunteering roles, this is the episode for you!
You can hear from our counselling volunteers, community volunteers, and @Leyla herself!

Let us know what points really stuck with you or any other questions you wish our volunteers had been asked.
Happy listening!

Really interesting words especially from the community side, I’m glad the volunteers get as much out of being here as we do. And I loved the question about what the average shift looks like. I used to volunteer for shout as well and I was like @Leyla in that I listened to music during, but I never quite went as far as video game soundtracks hehe! Whatever works.
It’s nice to know who we’re talking to and know a bit more about them, i don’t listen to podcasts much but that was actually the main reason I was interested in listening to this one, because it was more to get to know a bit more about you and the other volunteers on it. I’ve never had the counselling so I didn’t know anything about that either so that was cool, esp their day in the life bit.
Did you not want to go on it @Katie or you a bit camera shy ? Fair enough if so or any other reasons, I probably would be camera shy
No problem
Waffling on lol, I'd probably be interested in your story and all that haha. Fair enough though lol. I like listening to a few too.
