Hi Folks,
With a very heavy heart, I wanted to let you know that I will be leaving MHI
I know there's been a lot of change recently, so very sorry to add to this! I've been with the organisation for almost a decade, first as a regular support mod and then later more behind-the-scenes as a supervisor (I joined when it was called "YouthNet" even before "The Mix"!) and I've absolutely loved meeting you all and getting to see your journeys through the last 10 years. You're an incredible bunch of people and (despite what you sometimes think about yourselves) you are some of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever met and you all deserve to be supported and loved
My day job (amongst other things) has become particularly stressful recently and I didn't want to continue in the role when I didn't have enough headspace and resilience myself to give it the attention it deserves! After all, us mods are always preaching self-care to you guys, so it would be very hypocritical not to take onboard that message ourselves
....
It's crazy to think i've known some of you literally years and years, longer than many of my current friends and partner! I really will miss you all. Sending huge amounts of love and wishing you all the best for the future you lovely lovely people!
