Hands hurt, even when I’m wearing gym weight lifting gloves

The heaviest I lift is a 20kg bar with 25kg on each side.

Even with gloves, my hands hurt and are left with a mark.

Is there anything I can do?

Hey @bignosegirly0 , thank you for this question! I must admit, I'm not too sure, however, that sounds sore and painful!

What do you feel your options might be here? I wonder whether adjusting the work-out could be possible, to ensure you're not in pain?

@Sian321 i think the best option is to buy some new ones. Because weight lifting gloves is obviously meant to make lifting more bearable.

    Hey,
I also lift weights at the gym i found putting KT tape over that part of your hand and then the gloves stops the rubbing and kind of prevents soreness.
Also maybe a different pair of gloves. I found gloves made my hands hurt more then I found ones similar to what gymnasts have and they helped a bit better

Hope it settles a bit and isn't too sore to continue working out
