  @Rose113 I can see how much you miss your Grandma, and it's really brave of you to find a way to keep that connection. Grieving is a personal journey, and its okay to express your feelings however you feel that you need to, so if you want to message her phone as a way of feeling close to her and getting some closure then that is absolutely fine- you won't look silly at all. The community are here to support you whenever you need us

  No you won't look silly at all! Dealing with the loss of a loved one is a personal and difficult journey- one in which we cope around it in very different ways.
  Sometimes messaging them/talking to them, even if they won't respond can keep that communication open and make you feel better.
  Remember we are here for you.. losing someone you love is so hard.. I can't get over the loss of my aunty 6 years on. 😢

  Just wanted to also say you won't in any way look silly or anything like that if you did message. like the others have said, grief is such a personal and individualised thing, and everyone has different ways of coping. i've heard before of people sending messages as a way to ease the grief and stuff, so you aren't alone in this method of coping. even if she wont be receiving them, it may give you the comfort that the message has somewhat 'been sent to her' - and if it helps ease that loss and pain, who is anyone to judge.

  Not silly at all. I send my dad a text every day and even when he was alive the fella couldn’t read 😂
