Would having a laptop help with my work searching?

I have done another post more in detail about that having a laptop to apply to jobs on might help better. I've been applying to jobs on my phone but I was offered a laptop a few months ago for my job search so was thinking, I could maybe still get some and if I had it would it be help. It's just I know its a free laptop but if it's not worth it then it's just really going to be clutter. Personally I just apply on my phone because there's apps for phones like indeed, reed and job sites it's not really been an issue anywhere applying on my phone, maybe it takes a bit longer, I think that's it really. I have been suggested that having a laptop would help though.

Would you be able to trial using the laptop and then give it back if you don't get on with it? I think everyone's different so kinda depends on if you think you'd use it much! Love that it's free though that's super convenient !
