    @Chloe234, We're so glad you're still here.
    Christmas 100% can feel like having to put on a "mask of merriment," with pressures to join in with the cheer of partying, secret santa, putting up decorations, and christmas wishes.
    You don't have to put up that mask with us :) Is there a friend, even if it's just one, you can be real with offline? When my parent had cancer, I had one friend who said "If it sucks, you can say it sucks." Knowing who those people are that you can kick off your shoes and let it all hang loose with, really helps. We're definitely some of those people. We're here if you wanna talk- nothing is too big or small <3

    Chloe we are all so proud of you and you don’t have to hide or fake anything here. You want to cry cry you want to scream at how everything isn’t alright go for it we’re here but just know hating Christmas doesn’t make you a bad person, a lot of people do and it’s alright, you have your reasons and no one has a right to invalidate them.

    Hey Chloe,

    I promise you're not alone in dreading this time of the year. It's hard enough when it's bringing up memories of loved ones who are no longer with us, but then on top of that the added expectation to be happy and enjoy it is honestly too much. I'm really glad that despite your past, you're still here and alive to type out this post. That takes a lot of courage and strength so I'm proud of you <3 I hope you keep turning to community for support during the holidays as I know there are others who must feel the same way.

    Omg, @Chloe234 , same!!! I want to skip December. It's all to hard to deal with with the expectation to be happy, changes, Decorations and I'm dreading to think how I'm supposed to manage .

    Though chloe , so glad your still here... we'll get through it together!! 💛

    This time if year brings back horrible memories and past greif we havebt managed to process.
