I'm Brianna, one of the moderators here on community. This situation you've described sounds quite stressful and worrisome. I'm sorry that you're experiencing this right now. Have you shared how you're feeling with your mum? Or anyone else who lives in that town? I'm sure you're not the only who is feeling scared about this happening. If you ever feel the need to reach out for more practical support there is an organisation called Liberty who give advice on human rights and civil liberties issues, including criminal justice, police complaints, public order etc. Their website is www.libertyhumanrights.org.uk.
I hope you're able to do things that help to make you feel safe in the days that follow. Whether that's watching a comfort show, talking with your loved ones, or anything that brings you warmth or security
