i am rly struggling atm and the police brought me to hospital against my will but i tried leaving and now im on this. im rly rly rly struggling 😭😭. i dont want to be here i dont i give up. im safe of course :/. i just want to leave bc its so triggering for me here.
ppl dont always need advice. sometimes all they rly need is a hand to hold. an ear to listen. and a heart to understand them. 🧸

    Sending lots of hugs your way @eylah. I'm so sorry to hear you're going through such a tough time right now. It sounds really scary to be brought to the hospital against your will.     It's sounding so tough right now @eylah being sectioned and not wanting this to happen. It's so hard when things feel out of our control. How are you feeling at the moment? And how are you finding the support from the hospital staff?

    I was looking through Mind's website and came across some really helpful information about the different types of sections that you might want to read to find out a bit more about what's happening. They also have some information about your rights when you've been sectioned too.

    We're here for you @eylah. You're being so brave. Keep going and remember how strong you are <3
    Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    thankyou @Aoife ive never been put on section 2 before so im scared and upset. psych team saw me today said i am waiting on a psych bed. i am glad bc does this mean ill get help. everything abt this is scary bc idk what mh hospital im going to. dad isnt happy bc of this but least im safe from him. sry i have medicine they been giving me so im sleeping bc of it. im emotional wreck rn.

    your experience will depend on which psychiatric hospital you go to so i hope youll go to a good one. being under section 2 sucks as your rights change to medication and treatment but its there so that you can get better.

    will i have to agree to take meds etc bc i told them in my assessment i dont want the meds im on. sry im just confused

    idk its worth doing some research since i never refused to take my meds when i was sectioned.

    cant even have shower by myself they said would need nurse to come in with me bc apparently im a risk to myself. :confounded:

    as hard as it seems the nurses will want what's best for you so you can get better. i know its hard but it won't be forever.

    they’ve not told me :/ just said ill be transferred from this hospital when bed is found but idk what psych hospital ill be moved to bc theres one 45 minutes away but idk. :/

    like i said earlier i hope you get into a good psychiatric hospital since theyre really hit or miss these days

    its normal to be anxious when youre going to be transferred. when i was transferred to the psychiatric hospital via the ambulance i had no idea what to expect. its okay, you can post as much as you want on here.

    its a normal ambulance but the one i had was one with chairs and not a bed. idk why it was a different one. its okay, thats a normal feeling to have.
