So for me, Christmas is all about my nephews, one is 6 years old, one is 2, one is 2 and one is 5 months old, so seeing them over Christmas and how excited they are make my Christmas.

I also work during the festive period and knowing I am making a difference to the people I look after really makes me feel happy,

And not forgetting helping out on the discussion boards here, supporting others who may be struggling.

So I guess they are a few things about what Christmas is to me.

Also sorry if I've totally miss-understood the question

Thanks so much for sharing @**BananaMonkey* . It's so lovely that you give back during this time of year when others may be struggling <3

Would anyone else like to share what Christmas is like for them? We'll be sharing some of your comments on our Twitter page as part of our
    #NoNormalChristmas campaign :)
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

To be honest: though it could be worse, Christmas is kind of depressing for me. I haven't got much in the way of people to spend it with, which is a downer, but mainly, 'cause it's not like I can just snap out of the usual crap I'm feeling...

I'm particularly not looking forward to this Christmas, as I'm in a pretty horrible place mentally right now, and my grandmother's going to be away so it'll be even more dull :/ And what I'm doing to cope with that (as much as I can)? I think I'm going to indulge the suffering given how I can't get rid of it - I'm going to write super dark parodies of Christmas songs to amuse myself xD

(while I'm here, I'd also like to wish The Mix staff, and everyone else, a merry Christmas <3)

So Christmas has changed for me.

It used to be family,  waking up together, never had loads of of presents but we did have a nice roast on the table together,  a party later on.
Just good food and good people 💕

These past two years tho it has been about those things too but with doggos and my partner. i love my family super duper much and its hard to choose between the two but i give the edge to my partners family.
Things just aren't great as dad is still home but his family makes me feel so super welcome and i'm really grateful <3 also really looking forward to the road trip x

Christmas changes all the time for me .

Some Christmas have been amazing I can socialise with everyone , go for the family get together but then other Christmas can be horrible for me I can be quite withdrawn and spend my most of the time in my room . Especially after losing my nan it’s been really difficult as she was the “Christmas spirit” of the family but the most important thing for us is remembering those that we have lost
Sometimes all you need is one person to believe in you , for you to begin to believe in yourself.

Christmas is kind of stressful and lonely for me but at the same time i quite enjoy it.

Maybe because its just a bit different to other times of year and I love christmas decorations and songs. Sometimes I feel like i am missing out on it, compared to others, but at the same time I feel more focused on the positive things I do have in my life and people - and feel grateful. Because my sister always says about how many Christmas’ & New Years we have spent in the house we are in now. Which reminds me of all the things I didn’t have and how neglected my other Christmas’ & life used to be esp up to Christmas where it was starting to get freezing and to even spend it in a warm house now is a lot
