Hell Grace. Welcome to our boards. :)

I'm sorry that you're feeling down and are a crossroads in your life, but you have come to the right place for encouragement and support, a lot of which the board already has some terrific articles. This section is on Mental Health:  http://www.themix.org.uk/mental-health

The Mix also has some lovely group chats. These can be either Support Circle which is on Sunday and Tuesday evenings, examples fully explained here:  https://community.themix.org.uk/discussion/3592526/support-circles-this-week-tuesday-10th-sunday-15th-july#latest

And also there are support chats, and general chat which is for light and friendly conversation. Details for these chats are found here:

    Live Chat Announcements

To make a chat account is actually very simple. It only takes a minute. When in the evenings chats go 'live', go here and make a chat account.

I'm certain you will receive the help you need. I know it's rather late right now and most have gone to bed, but hang in here and from tomorrow onwards I'm sure some of my friends will be saying hello and welcoming you, too.

    Best wishes,

    Mandy

Welcome. Hope you find support here
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

Welcome to the boards Grace! It's lovely to have you here.

You've taken a really positive step to reach out here for support. Sounds like you're going through a lot right now. When you feel ready, do head over to the 'health and wellbeing' section of the boards to make another thread and tell us more about what's going on, we'll be here to listen and support you :)

Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤
