Heya
So this may be triggering for those who find talking about pills may be triggering. If that’s anyone.

A few weeks ago, was in distressed state and I dropped loads of pills in public area and all pills was all out of the packet thing. I can’t really remember what really happened after but I think I did drop quite a lot. But didn’t pick them up and wasn’t thinking straight.

But I have been worried since that maybe theres a chance a dog would of eaten them and got really sick ? and feel bad. It was in a place where lots of people walk dogs. I know when am walking my dog he tries to eat all sorts from the floor and dunno if lot of dogs are like that? Or what the chances of that happening ? Also they was not capsules but the different type and maybe when it rained it would of been dissolved in the rain? It’s not really in a place someone would tidy, I don’t think, so idk -what else would happen to them. Keep feeling bad that it may of caused a dog to get really sick

Absolutely nothing to worry about, luv! Dogs distrust chemical smelling pills. Even mine spits his allergy tablets out if he detects one wrapped up in a piece of cheese. Crafty doggy. :d

Dogs always sniff before eating. They can detect even artifical sweetener. You have nothing worry about, honest. Highly likely they either got swept up or washed away in all that rain we've had. :)

I forgot to tell you, but I phoned the vet to make sure and they said nothing to worry about, the same reasons as me. All good, then! :thumb:

When something like this happens, it can actually cause different emotions within us-worry about a dog or other animal accidentally taking them or being harmed by them, ashamed that so many pills came out at once or guilt that you'd left them there due to being too many to pick up etc. Honestly though, nothing to worry about :)

Mirabelle is right, and that was helpful of her to contact the vets to find out and confirm her reasonsing(s) as well.
