Hi, I'm new. I'm a 50 y.o. mother of two (7 and 13). I also drink too much. At least more than I think I should. I've been working with a therapist and hope to make progress on this. But it's hard. Alcohol is refuse. I want to give it up. But I don't know if I can. I am hoping to find others who have escaped this addiction. Who might provide me some idea of who to get out.

    Welcome to TheSite! Sorry to hear you're struggling with alcohol at the moment.

    It is worth knowing that the boards are for 16-25 year olds - an alternative option for you might be Elefriends, which is a similar online community for people over 18 years :)
