Book recommendations
I have a lot of extra time on my hands at the moment and reading is doing well at filling some of that time. However, today I finished my last book in the pile so I could do with some recommendations. Recently read include Girl on the Train, Still Alice, You Belong to Me, Until You're Mine, Before You Die and the OFSTED Murders.
Really not a fan of anything based around historical drama, so they will be a no straight away

Ian Mcewan - Solar, On Cheshil Beach
The Summer Book and A Winter Book by Tove Janson
They'd be my first recommendations! Are there any genres you specifically prefer?
Margrave of the marshes - John peel
Tell the moon to come out - Joan Lingard
The wind on fire series by William Nicholson
Exodus by Julie Bertagna
Very different to what I usually read, but I read this series when I was at school and I met William Nicholson at an author talk. He was really engaging.
I currently have a massive crush on her writing style...
ohh this looks good, thank you Helen.
