On Thursday 18th December from 7-8.30pm we'll be running a workshop with our friends from Leap.
The chat is all about dealing with conflict at home.
In the run up to Christmas this may be even more on people's minds - you might be dreading the family rows that flare up or spending too much time with your siblings Whatever your worry, this workshop is a chance to come and learn more about conflict and think up some new strategies to help you cope.
This is a session with 10 places available so you'll need to sign-up if you'd like to take part and this will be on a first come first served basis.
The session will be run by our expert Carey from Leap:
A bit about Carey...
Carey usually runs workshops face to face at their offices in North London or in schools and youth clubs so it's great that she's coming online to offer this training to you guys!
How will the chat work?
As mentioned, places are limited so get registered if it sounds like this could be useful for you by signing up here.
Any questions feel free to ask here or PM me :thumb:

A bit about Carey...
Carey joined Leap in 1992 when she began her role as a Senior Trainer. In 2013 she joined the staff team, overseeing the delivery of our wide range of programmes. She has been involved in the development and delivery of most of Leap's courses for young people and adults and her areas of specialism are mediation, identity and prejudice.

How will the chat work?
- We'll start with some introductions
- Then the main part of the session will be made up of two activities designed to help you understand more about the choices available to you in particular situations and to think of ways that you could respond differently. We'll watch a video together and then talk about it afterwards.
- There will be some space to share your own experiences and to think of new ways to improve challenging situations.
- The normal chat guidelines will apply.
