You have low fees. I have to pay £1075 a year. Fortunately I'm still at home so Im not doing badly, and I saved up a lot over the holidays.
I've started with overdrafts.
4x £1000 (fees) = £4000
4x £3000 (loan) = £12000
£1600 (overdraft) = £1600
total: £17600
how??
poor bastard
It's on the BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/education/newsid_1789000/1789927.stm

Hmmmmm.........
In total I will be £4000 smackers and this is my final year, so this is what I will have to pay back.
I thought I was bad, but looking at the replies it seems am a lucky one. Well I hope it pays off in the end run.
Thankfully in total at the end of the course I will only be $7500 in debt (cause you get $1000 for course related costs paid direct in cash to your bank.. woo-hoo!)
And, if I consider working in the UK after my course I can earn in excess of 16k pounds and above and pay back my student loan within a year thanks to the wonderful exchange rates... worth a thought
