does anyone have an experiences or advice on under active thyroid?

    Mine refuses to work, so I have no useful advice :razz: I'm in every freaking 2 months to get my meds changed and nothing is helping... wearing sweaters in august like a nutball.

    I just have to say what I'm sure your doc told you. Take your medicine as directed (T4, empty stomach, nothing but water for the next hour... even coffee can hinder the absorption. Wait even longer for high fiber foods, iron, calcium, soy... t3 you can take with or without food) and stay regular with your endo. Take note of the possible symptoms and if you notice them, go get your levels checked.

    I have heard there is anecdotal evidence that going gluten free can help, but I wouldn't put too much stock in that.
