It's the weekend

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
We haven't had one of these for aaaaaaaaaaaages. And I can't believe none of you have exciting weekend plans as I've heard it's fireworks night in the real world.

So go on, make me jealous.

research and design for my latest college (dia de los muertos half body painting, with bald cap application) today, inbetween lots of phone calls to sort out the latest crisis. Tomorrow & sunday will be quiet days at home, probably watching crappy TV, doing more work to catch up with college, sleeping this infection off, and hopefully getting some remedial/birthday ice cream too!

Got crap loads of fireworks and overdone it on the Catherine Wheel front :D

Just checked the freezer. Ben and Jerry's fudge brownie, Hagen Daaz Pralines or sorbet (lemon or raspberry) ?

Did I ever mention I hate you?

If we get anything that vaguely resembles fireworks then we're in serious trouble.

And the ice cream choice is bright pink strawberry, neon yellow vanilla or pale brown chocolate - which almost doesn't count as ice cream.

Tonight I will be watching fireworks from the comfort of in front of my laptop because I can see them out of my window.

I will also be eating pizza and drinking cider and playing WoW because I FUCKING CAN.

Then tomorrow I have to go lamp/TV stand shopping.

Thought you fixed EPOS systems? Or am I hopelessly out of date? If I'd known it came with foreign travel opportunities I'd have gone into it :P

Anyway, tonight I'm going to a friend's house to drink their beer, eat their food and light their fireworks.

Sign you're getting old. If i'm drinking I'm normally on the verge of passing out by midnight.

    Installation and break/fix.
Have customers in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Bruges and all over the UK. Get's me about a bit. Still rather not be working the weekend. 80 hours+ this week and still got to drive home.

I was in bed watching Grey Anatomy by 20:30 last night.

My idea of a perfect Friday night.

(If we gloss over the bit where I left my proper glasses on my desk and went up to bed wearing safety specs)

Just put together a TV cabinet all by myself. I feel slightly manly.
