a silk violet gsi is on the to buy list at some point for sure!!!
rwd the way forward tho
No...I did pass the CBT a few years back but never took it any further. My dad's always ridden motorbikes so kind of grew up with them and do love them - maybe one day!
To be honest I wouldn't bother with a GSi silk violet is nice but people are asking STUPID prices for GSi's, even ones that need work to make them road legal, a white one was going on ebay not long ago for £500 and it needed welding and other little bits to pass an MOT, silk violet ones are priced even stupider than that due to them being that colour.
Buy a 5 speed 1.2 and make it how you want it. Or even better buy a van, already stripped out, there is a 1.5 TD for sale in Melrose £500 (Scottish border regions) and it already has drive shafts that would be perfect for a 1.6 conversion.
goin down that road id rather throw a mi16 lump in the 205
I'd love to be able to actaully stay on one of those!
I had a go on one like that but my feet were strapped in while attached to a kite down a massive hill in a field and i was crapping it! lol
Ever been in one? Great fun! :thumb:
Still can't believe I lifted that engine into the back of a van by myself...

Now that's a motor.
It's the aerial and water getting under the seal - get some bathroom sealant (or some decent glue) and put it all round the aerial on the roof (and the bit of plastic / rubber around the base) - bob's your uncle, dry in the car!
