No I've being known to name a car or 2 in the past, I've just bought a van which is converted into a campervan and was in Blackpool the first week we got it and we won a Dora the Explorer teddy on a game so the van is now called Dora!

It was the car and the "cheeky monkey" sticker that made me presume it was a girls car :p
    for my son :p

It can't just get a name, it has to aquire a name as it aquires character. Didn't have the first car long enough to get it a name, though it has a name now... next car was called "the boat" as it was huge and giant like a boat, and I hated it with every fibre of my being so I had to degrade it with its name... this one is the crunchanator... figure that one out. The first car now has the name of "the original crunchanator" cuz it was the same type of car as this one now. See... it has to have a story and a life, you can't just name it :p

Erm... just out of curiousity, why do you want to give your car a name?

Point. Isn't it already called Yaris?

    Anyway, names.
    - Delilah the Slaughterer
    - Sally Roadkill
    - Betty Bloodlust
    - Pauline Piledriver
    - Alice the Impaler

    Moar later. Maybe.

 Definitely, you have to drive it for a bit to realise its character. I didn't name Gladys (my fiesta) for a few months and the name just came naturally once I realised that she was a blatant OAP. My friend had a (very slightly newer) fiesta and she called it Maud. So we had Gladys and Maud, the two decrepit fiestas. Sadly Gladys is no longer with us and Maud is soon to be traded in for a younger model
