A nice wine to try

BunnieBunnie Posts: 6,099 Master Poster
It is from the Co-op and was £2.99!

I am really quite into my red wine and as we are poor I thought I would just get through 'the pain' and vinegary mess that I assumed it would be.

I was pleasantly suprised when I opened the bottle of Romanian Prarie Merlot - It even says Table Wine on the bottle.

So just a heads up kids it is a nice wine, and is a bargain!

Just cover over the label with a post-it note and write "HOUSE RED" on it

You can drink a few red wines cold. Some Beaujolais, especially the nouveau, sparkling burgandy, sangria (although specifically a punch i suppose)

But then again you could drink any red weine cold. It's your wine, do what you want with it :D

I've found plenty of nice wines for 3 or 4 pounds. I rarely ever spend more than £4 and I rarely ever get a bottle I don't like. Some of course are better than others. Had one from co-op that was £3.99 afew times recently, fuckin loved it, but they stopped selling it after a couple of months :-(

Just never never by 2 for a fiver bottles that they often have in little shops, no no no no no.......
