I was just wondering if anyone had seen the new Blair Witch Project thats on at the cinema now? I want to go and see it because, believe it or not, I liked the first one!! Everyone starts on me when I say that and go on about how crap it was LoL but anyway, before I persuade my friends to come and see it with me (and get dressed up 'cause its a 18!) has anyone seen it and do they think its any good? Thanks!

Not a scary film.
Although the new Blair Witch looks like it might be alot better. Maybe because the budget is alot bigger, so there'll be better effects. And hopefully the script will be better and there'll be no more scenes like the dribbling nose thing <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/eek.gif"> Even though I found the first one crap, I still want to see the next one anyway. It looks better than the first one.

Take Scream for example, the first Scream really was a great film! Original, funny and gripping. Scream 2... well, let's just say it didn't leave me hankering for another sequel.
Blair Witch 2 has probably got a bloody massive budjet compared to it's predecessor, but a budget can only offer more special effects and more experienced actors.
Have you seen The Haunting? the first film was brilliant, although there were no special effects it was one of the best ghost films I've seen (and it's in black & white). Anyone who's seen the Jan Du Bont remake that was out a year or so ago will realise that special effects and a shitty storyline don't a good film make (not to mention that he's a crap director anyway).
TBWP2 looks pretty scary, but I honestly don't know what to expect, I'll go & see it anyway.
IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS THE WORD...
