Wow, when u think of it like that the 80's weren't so bad were they? (Sob, the nostalgia...)
'find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life'
If there's anything more important than my ego around here, i want it caught and shot now
Did anybody else have a 'Global Hypercolour' t-shirt that changed colours as it got hot when you put it on. They usually only worked until you had washed them three times. A real '80s child would've also sported a side-parting and disgusting knitted jumper. My old photos make me look like such a nerd, beeing born in '81 was almost criminal.
I got one for my birthday one year! It was pink and purple and everyone in my class wrote on it. It was, like, THE best present ever!
I knew so many people who used to whip out their hairdryers when they felt the need for a different coloured t-shirt.

Also what about Jive Bunny??!?
Now, have a big toke on this South African drugs-reefer-style spliff doobie.
Why don't they release it on video? I would buy it!
*is ashamed*
*blushes*
*remembers the good old days and wishes it still was*
*blushes some more....*
if in doubt-dance.
HEY!! Havn't seen you for a while, where youo been?
...does anyone remember "The Littlest Hobbo"
"There's a voice that keeps on calling me.
Down the road, that's where I'll always be.
Oh, every stop I make, I make a new friend.
Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again..."
Classic! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">
"So, if you want to join me for awhile,
Just grab your hat, and we'll travel light.
That's hobo style..."
"Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down.
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep movin' on.
Until tomorrow, the whole world is my home..."
Does anyone out there remember this programe that was on Childrens BBC and it was about this kid that sold his laugh to a guy who was really evil. I think it was German and dubbed over. Cant for the life of me think what it was called?
And does anybody else remember "James and The Majic Torch", it was a cartoon where the beam of light from his torch created a helter-skelter slide to another world. Awsome! Centurions, Visionaries, Stoppit and Tidy Up, Wurzel Gummage... I want to go back! LET ME GO BACK!!!
O.k., I remembered He-Mans' cats name- Battle Cat. But what was Skeletors beast called?
Wasn't there about three? I remember one was like a fish or something cant think of his bloody name though! What was the name of He-mans floating friend? The little thing in a red cape and he just had two eyes?
And does anybody else remember "James and The Majic Torch", it was a cartoon where the beam of light from his torch created a helter-skelter slide to another world. Awsome!
Jamie! Jamie! Jamie and his majic torch! Jamie! Jamie! Jamie and his majic torch!
Can you remember what his dog was called?

That would be Wordsworth i think.
Hi charley by the way, I been slacking off my posting duties recently (but I managed to make it to crazy poster!)
It's nice to be missed tho-cheers mate <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">
if in doubt-dance.
That would be Orcal, the gay flaoting wizard chum of Adam. Adam turned into He-man. His cat was called Cringger and that turned into Battle-Cat. Skeletor also had a cat, WHAT WAS IT CALLED?
Indeed, it could've been Wordsworth, but I thought that was the dogs name on the Dream Patrol cartoon. Two cartoon dogs called Wordsworth? What are the chances.
The highlight of the 1980's (or was it the 90's?) were the Teenage Mutant Hero (Ninja) Turtles. The government wouldn't let the show have 'ninja' in the title... pathetic.
I think your thinking of Potsworth and Company. God i'm so sad that i know this!

I distinctly remember wearing neon yellow and pink fluffy socks, and I had neon pink and black striped gloves too.
I hate the current 80s revival and I am reluctant to wear any of the fashions because they were clothes I was forced to wear as a child. Anyone remember striped rugby shirts? I had one in orange and a green one.
I was born in 84 so I was a bit young but I still remember a lot of it.
I also remember going to see Barbie and the Rock Stars live in Glasgow. Do any of you remember when she released "Dressing up?"
I actually think I still have the record.
I take pity on thee.
