    and Bib rocks, We have several cool t-shirts, there are alot on tshirt hell I want aswell.

    Although I must admit I do think the first and third are more flattering, she is adorable. (it is a she :p )

    I do a couple per week, but I still get disturbed because she's still in our room (no sex either :( ). I have to say that I don't mind. It's not like I am with her all day so it's nice to get that quiet, sneaky, cuddle at 1am...

    Experience tells me that I am making a rod for my own back though and that in a few weeks I will be grumpy because she won't go to sleep until I rock her in my arms.

    Having said that, they aren't babe-in-arms for long and you have to enjoy it while you can. I have one son who I rarely see.

    Apart from at the dinner table or when he wants money...

    people told me that too, that I should 'let her cry', or not cuddle her in my own bed but, I really enjoyed those times and found them comforting, bonding sweet, and it's true- it's over all too soon. Do what u wan tto do, it's hardly spoiling a child to cuddle them, in my eyes anyway.

    what I most wanted to do instinctivly is cuddle my DD and I felt completely lost an undermined when I kept getting told that I was spoiling her. Truely, don't listen to them, do what feels right for you, and if that's cuddling, well I say- good. What child has a hard upbringing because they were cuddled or loved too much? pah! cuddle away.

    Seriously, the theory is that it makes his harder to break off that affection when you want them to sleep on their own, in their own room etc. I can undersatdn that and we did have problems with my eldest. I learned from that and so it's not everytime and I encourage her to sleep on her own (as much as you can for an eight week old), but the other thing I've learned is that the day when they no longer want to sit an cuddle comes round way too fast...

    It's hard, emotionally that is, because there was a time when all you wanted was time with him and you will always be his little girl, no matter what age you are. He will think of those times fondly and it's not easy watching your kids getting by without needing you wanymore - even though that is what we parents spend years trying to achieve...

    He has my sympathy.

    I agree with doing what seems best for the child... but don't automatically ignore things from friends/relatives as there may be a sliver of something useful in there.

    No-one can describe the effects that lack of sleep over a sustained time can do to a grown man (And woman for that matter!)

    And it's plain to see from them photos that she is a hand full already! She's got that look in her eyes!
