Wavy hair

How do you get it?

I'm reallllyyy wanting to do something different with my hair right now. I've been seeing so many girls with wavy hair and it looks so nice. My hair is naturally straightish though :(

I'm looking to do something with my hair like this...http://www.thelostblog.com/images/characters/evangeline-lilly-kate-on-lost-glasses.jpg

Swap hair with me! Mine does that on its own when i get out of the shower and forget to comb it through. :(

Try getting a bit of mousse (omg, how 90s) in while it's still damp and scrunch drying it.

 don't forget the diffuser on the hair drier.

Ha, I always forget other people can blow dry their hair. If mine even senses the presence of a hairdryer I end up looking like Leo Sayer :(

If you have straight hair but crave the Evageline Lilly look, then you might have to go the chemical route. I did it a whiles back...
Got a loose spiral perm and it worked wonders for me.
I got sick of the constant maintanence after only 3 mths, so be weary.

If you want somethin more like this...

    or

Then that's totally doable minus the chemical romance.

All it takes is a medium barrel curling iron, some hairspray and the cunning use of your fingers to separate the curls to achieve the soft cascade. I do it all the time.

    Lemme know :)

How strange. My hair goes wavy at the first hint of moisture, but if I DON'T blow dry it I end up with a Leo Sayer style bird's nest.

Doesn't plaiting your hair and leaving it in for several hours or so give you wavy hair? Or am I thinking of something else?

One way to make it wavy is to wash/condition it and then whilst wet, put it into a rough bun in the middle of your head. Let it dry, and then take it down et Voila!

Mousse on damp hair, scrunch with head upside down using diffuser. Works for me everytime.

    Can you buy diffuser attachments?

I already have a good hair dryer and cannot afford to buy one with a diffuser on it.
