Chicken, cheese & bbq sauce
Ham, cheese & pickle
cheese and onion
I don't really have toasties now, cos the machine is hard to clean. Cheese and pickle is a winner though
Anyone tried the toastie bags? My mam had some when I went back home and I thought they were quite the buisness
George Foreman toasties all the way!
Corned beef and hamburger relish.
Cheese and chilli relish, also good on baked potatoes!
Frankfurters and fried onion
Garlic sausage is nice.
You know those little jars of pizza topping, I think it's Buitoni or something... well that, and cheese and other bits and bobs like sliced black olives, ham, pineapple, mushrooms, onions... anything you'd put on a pizza really.... makes DELICIOUS toasties.
And omg, in school they used to make a sort of toastie, but on one piece of bread...it was pretty much cheese, onion and tomato but fuck they tasted goooooooooood, it might have been the tomato ketchup or maybe there was tomato paste under the cheese, god knows....but i fucking miss them!
tuna and cheese
cheese and beans
cheese and bacon
seems to be a cheesey theme here!
Cheese and ham
Cheese and onion
Cheese and bacon
Cheese and mushroom
I love cheesy ones too.
I have cheese and onion ones almost on a daily basis
Cheese and bacon with ketchup
Cheese and pepperoni is good too
Also ciabatta sausage roll.
cos I got cornbeef, onions, green chilies, etc on as we speak.
I make mine under the grill.
How does that work then?
Cos like my corn beef was prepared yesterday, so was inthe fridge - and was cold - but cos the sandwich making machine seals the edges it creates a lot of hot air inside the bread which makes it really hot inside and is more then enough to heat it up from cold, but under a grill you wouldn't have that same seal and hot air.
BTW used brown bread - so weren't so good this time.
I usually have cheese and ham toasties, i simply make the sarnie, put under grill open to start with so cheese melts, then put together and toast both sides.
The edges aren't sealed but they don't need to be.
But it has to be on white bread (and in a machine) and it can scald so be careful, but yummy!
Turkey, brie and cranberry sauce.
Cheese and pickle
cheese and tomato (many posh variations)
Chicken strips and cheese
