Pill 'Ed, Eddy, Eeeeeddd (said in a really annoying almost mechanical sounding voice which only one of my mates can do). That's about it these days, used to get called Dread Ed a few years back when I had dreadlocks.

My normal nickname is DD. Almost everyone calls me that, even my mum!
I was informed in a thread the other day that means darling daughter. Is that right?

I've never come across that once before. Never heard of it. Maybe it's a regional thing.

One friend from uni who supports Chelsea has decided to call me Didier Drogba which I'm obviously not keen on. :impissed:

It also makes me mad when people spell it Dee Dee, when putting it in texts or in their phone directory!

Oh, I thought it was pronounced double D, like the bra size.

    Haha, no. It's DD, thankfully.

Being called 'Double D' wouldn't exactly be fantastic.

Meercat, by my boss. He has nicknames for everyone. 'Meercat' is, I think, due to the fact I nearly always look up from my desk when I hear the double doors just beyond my office door open so that I can see who is about to walk past.

By family and friends, I never get called anything but my first name; not even a shortened version... Is that boring?! :( (pet names by my boyfriend excluded obviously!)

Any variation of Lolzabeth or Loldee. My mum calls me Lolly and my dad calls me Widget (a cross between a wiggle and a fidget)

I get called all sorts of stuff at work, some of which are listed below. And yes, people really do say these things when I walk in the office, much to the amusement of our customers.

Vod Queen, Slutterbug, Skanky Bitch, Slutty Hobag, ASBO Queen, MariArrrrrr! (like a piratey Yarrrrr! but with my name instead of a Y at the beginning), variations on Ho, Madam Mim (mainly my parents with that one), Lady.

I'm known to pretty much everyone except family and new friends as Mad Dog. Got that name handed to me when I was a kid and it hasn't left. :crazyeyes

They call me by m'last name. I don't mind at all, seeing as I've grown accustomed to calling my girl friends by their last names too!
