    CBT... I'm sure that's what I did for my moped (unless there's an actual difficult version :D). If I am thinking of ther same thing, it's not really hard....

    Well i am guessing they'll teach you as it is TRAINING, i have mine on sunday and I hope they teach you as I've not Rode a powered motorcycle in years.

    actually, CTSM is the bike guru, I'm a noobie.

    Basically, you need a provisional driving licence with motorcycle entitlement (most provisionals will have this anyway, I think it's category a?). Then just find your local cbt place (best one near my is hinckleyrts - they're a not-for-profit organisation that let you try a free retest if you fail :D), go there, you start off the day with some theory, look at gear, why it's essential, go on the bikes, do some basic manouvres away from the public highway, gear changes etc. (all talked through, usually a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio of teachers to students), then you have a lunch break, watch a public information video about the hazards to bikers (in a nutshell - every car on the road is gunning for you), then you go out in a min convoy (usually 1:2 ratio) and just drive around. If you don't fuck it up completely, you get your CBT certificate. If you don't, just do it again the next week. Or in my case, go out again and do it :) lol.

    CBT= ride aroudn for a bit between cones pretned you know what your doung and then get a ticket to go on the road.

    im lucky, if I fail I do not need a CBT for my island, but then it's better if I do have one
