My 14yo sister says random all the time, when she's in a good mood anyway. When she's in a bad mood she doesn't say anything. :rolleyes:
I can't remember what we used to always say at school, and I only left last year, so it must've been crap.
I remember that from secondary school, about the same time as 'innit' - I'd hear lads saying stuff like, "I'm gonna chirps that girl, she's butters innit." and the other lad would reply, "is it."

I also say 'cad', but that's mainly when i'm reading Jilly Cooper novels.
My Mum called me a wanton hussy once (think I had a neckline lower than half a centimetre) and I cracked up, don't think that was the reaction intended.
But i think that may have been justified.
I say them ALL the time. Ha.
As for the places, a couple of years back I went somewhere and the memory of the previous (and first) time I'd been there, two years before, was so intense that the nostalgia really gave me a heartache. I almost had to sit!
I use it, and many others here too really.
The funny thing is the greek word used for a similar meaning... At least random makes some sense, we say "Cancelled". As in, "That joke was so cancelled!". People used to say "deaf" once.
So do I.
