a mate and me were talking and we were discussing would a man give up porn if he had a 'female friend' to do 'activities' with. We concluded that a man wouldn't give up porn. full stop.

    well my mate says his girl won't let him have porn, but she doesn't do anything with him. he got busted and nearly got binned when she found his stash.

    And P.S...he's not a child.....therefore, he shouldn't have to ask permission from his girlf to own the porn stash that was probably there before she was.....

    Like someone else said, the two aren't mutually exclusive. I don't understand people getting stressed about it (either gender about their partners) unless like SCC said, it's used as a substitute.

    I cant deny that it wouldnt upset me to find out that my boyfriend could get aroused by looking at other women in porn.

    But, i wouldnt make him choose if i found out he uses porn. That would be like attempting to change someone against their will, and if i dont like the person that he is then i shouldnt be with him. I dont think relationships should be about rules

    It depends, really. If he preferred looking at porn to me then id probably ditch him. As long as it doesnt conflict with real life activities then im happy for him to whack off to it.

    Althoughhhh...thinking again about this...(and maybe this comes back to what SCC was saying earlier), with my ex, I once woke up to him wanking over some vaguely sexual prog on Channel 4....think it was Top 100 sexiest moments or something (not EVEN soft porn!!!) :(

    If you prefer porn to a real live woman then you're a nutjob, but porn has its uses.
