Painful urination!

I have recently gone on the pill and since me and my boyfriend have never had sex with anyone else we have decided not to use condoms anymore because we really dont like them! However, we had sex without one for the first time last weekend, and now I have developed some kind of infection (I think)
I think its cystitis, which isnt actually caused by sex but can b aggrevated by it - basically, whenever I pee, as it gets towards the end my bladder really hurts!! Now I know no1 here is a doctor, but has any1 had this b4? I have had the symptoms 4 about 3 days now, and I dont want to go to the doctor about it, because I've read that it will go on its own if you drink lots and pee more often to flush out your bladder! I was also wondering if I have sex again will it make it worse, since I havent told my bf yet as I dont want to worry him!
Please, if any1 knows anything about this, some advice would be great!
Thanks

Your doctor will probably prescribe u anti-biotics.
PLEASE dont take this the wrong way lol but personal hygiene is very important in preventing a re-occurence.
Make sure your partner washes his genitals thoroughly (esp foreskin) and after you use the toilet, always wipe yourself front to back.

hope it gets better!
Yes drink lots of water with a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in a half pint of water(if u can!) in a litre, then go to the doctor!!
Sorry to sound like a nag, but I don't know if anyone here is a dotor, so there's no point guessing. As someone has said already its really easy to treat an infection - most can be cleared up with antibiotics.
And it might not be cystitis but a urinary tract infection or non specific vaginitis....you see what I mean about guessing?Go see a doctor and ask them for free condoms and both of you book a sexaul health checkup!
i didn't go to see the doc until i started pissing blood, then i went pretty sharpish... you'll probably do the same...
nothing to worry about. you'll probably get prescribed cephalexin (:rolleyes <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"> because it's really good for that sort of thing...

so cranberry juice, drinking lots and going to the doc if it gets any worse are recommended?
I think it's the same thing; I'm a virgin and so is my bf but we have done stuff. not much or very far though. I assume it can be aggravated by certain things?

soap, bubble bath, wiping yourself in the wrong direction... its cause is not always sexual... but yes, it can be aggravated by sexual contact.
