Anyone care to help me out?
needs a face, it does. thats the first thing i noticed.
My thoughts too.
So woo, removed face for proection. Your point IS, exactally, what?
What a let down
Is it supposed to be one of those optical illusion things? Like, you're meant to focus on all the green on the t-shirt and the green of the background then notice the missing face and say "woah"....
Kinda like the "I like Paris in the the spring" illusion.
A bit rubbish really.
P.S. I'm not sure if it was painted skin colour for her protection....people usually use blur or a big black box, not a creepy removal of all her facial features. If they did that on Crimestoppers instead of blurring out their faces, I really would have bloody nightmares.
Cheers....I still find it very peculiar. Are they their models or from another site? Did they give permission to be so mutilated to the extent it becomes a topic in a completely different forum? Meh....I'm looking too much into it.
It's still weird.
What is so fucking wierd about this? Anyone explain it?
Read my posts above. If it was to hide her identity, I think it would be less time efficient and presumably more expensive to Photoshop her facial features out as opposed to blurring her face or placing a big black square there.
Besides, why is her identity being protected? She's a model showcasing the t-shirts. If it's because they don't have permission to use her photo, they're not allowed to do that. I'd also like to see the model release papers that say she can't object to photos of her body being mutilated because I know if I were a model, I wouldn't like to see that.
Or maybe it's just for effect.
maybe thats what happens when you wear their tshirts?
Ditto. I was even going to enquire about this issue, but the contact form was stupidly designed. It was compulsory to tell them what products I had ordered, and other details. No simple enquiry form.
Enough piercings? How does she eat?!

Their photo could well have been edited.

Where in that link does it say that they did not take her photo and edited her face?
If not by editing, how would they remove her face? Putting on a mask? Surgery? I feel confused..
I just used the word mutilated to describe how she looked after the photo editing process.
I thought you were saying someone talk the photo from the site then edited it for the purposes of an optical illusion or whatever, hence why I gave you the link to show it's the original pic.
Oh ok, never meant it in that way. Nothing more than a little misunderstanding, I tend to take things very literally and it's also difficult trying to see what point people are making on a forum. Nothing like real life.
